Coastal Bend Storm

All of us here in the Coastal Bend area are quite familiar with tropical storms or hurricanes, and the damage they cause.  When shingles and roofs are blown off of houses, the rain begins coming in to saturate your attic.  The result is falling ceilings and water running down the inside of the walls.  During Hurricane Harvey, SERVPRO of Corpus Christi East serviced hundreds of customers due to windblown rain or rising floodwaters.  In this case, the drywall and insulation were soaked in this house and needed to be removed.  After we removed those wet materials, we were able to concentrate on the remaining wet framing to dry it out.
